How did lawyers, doctors, artists, and educators become perpetrators of injustice during the Holocaust? This question will be explained at an upcoming forum hosted by the Law Society and The League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada. The event will commemorate National Holocaust Memorial Day and will be attended by panelists Dr. Yoel Abells (U of T, Faculty of Medicine and columnist for the National Post), Dr. Judith Cohen (York U, Faculty of Fine Arts & Dept. of Music), Dr. Amanda Grzyb (Western, Faculty of Information and Media Studies), and Kristen Rundle (U of T, Faculty of Law). The panel discussion will be followed by a reception which will feature a poetry reading by Elana Wolf, award-winning author of Mask, and a musical interlude by Susan Baskin.
Admission to the panel discussion and reception is free but you still need to RSVP. Call 416-947-3413, or send an e-mail to:
